Objectives
The Diploma in Criminology aims to equip learners with theoretical knowledge and practical skills for understanding crime, criminal behavior, victimization, crime prevention and the functioning of the criminal justice system.
The programme develops learners’ ability to analyze the causes and patterns of crime, conduct basic criminological research, evaluate crime-prevention strategies and apply criminological knowledge in security, justice, correctional and community settings.
