OCCUPATION HEALTH & SAFETY
Overview
This course is designed to present all relevant OSHA standards, regulations and hazard awareness techniques and is updated with any changes to these requirements. The training focuses on understanding essentials of health & safety provisions, working practices, hazards, and controls, working environment & occupational health and hazard communication. Occupational health and safety are one of the most important aspects of human concern. It aims an adaptation of working environment to workers for the promotion and maintenance of the highest degree of physical, mental, and social wellbeing of workers in all occupations.
Objectives
By the end of this course the student should be able to understand the maintenance and promotion of workers’ health and working capacity, promote the improvement of a working environment and work towards becoming conducive to safety and health and also be able to develop work organizations and cultures in support of health and safety at work.
